Elevator Pitch No. 2



2) I didn't get much feedback on my last pitch, but I tried my best to apply what I heard. One of the things I was told was to improve my tone, and to avoid being monotone. Because I'm introverted, this is something which doesn't come naturally in front of a camera. I didn't receive any advice which was unusual or out of place.

3) In light of the feedback I received, I tried to focus on improving my tone and my pacing.

21A – Reading Reflection No. 2

Reading: How to Fail at Almost Everything and Still win Big  by Scott Adams 1) What was the general theme or argument of the book?  The general theme is to not think of failure as failure, but to see it as a learning opportunity. As cliche as that sounds, Scott Adam's brings depth to the discussion by emphasizing how we need to recognize failure as an essential rung on the ladder to eventual success. 2) How did the book, in your opinion, connect with and enhance what you are learning in ENT 3003? Many people have misconceptions about what an entrepreneur is, and what you need to do to become an entrepreneur. Similarly, Scott Adams addresses many of the misconceptions associated with success, and what it takes to achieve success. 3) If you had to design an exercise for this class, based on the book you read, what would that exercise involve? Elevator Pitch No. 3

1) In my last pitch, I talked to fast and didn't communicate my product super effectively. 2) I slowed my speech and made it much shorter. My product is hard to understand for some consumers, and it does more harm than good to try to explain it in 90 seconds. For this reason, I decided to try to relate my product directly to the current volatile environment, in an effort to connect emotionally with my customer.
